See open jobs at Databricks.See open jobs similar to "Senior Solutions Architect" Race Capital.In the role of Senior Solutions Architect, specialising in data engineering, analytics, AI/ML/DS, big data, and public cloud, you'll participate in the technical assessment stage, offering hands-on expertise throughout the sales cycle. As an integral member of the sales team, you'll serve as a technical consultant and partner with the product team to represent the needs and concerns of our customers. Using our Databricks Lakehouse platform, you'll assist clients in achieving concrete, data-based results by providing a solid architectural roadmap and pinpointing high-impact use cases. This role offers the opportunity for professional growth in your area of expertise as you handle some of the most complex challenges our customers face in big data, analytics, data engineering, and data science. You will be reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Field Engineering.
Note : we are open to accept applications from across the country (i.e. outside of Munich).
The impact you will have:
- As an expert in the sphere of big data analytics, you will be seen as an expert on issues of architecture and design
- Lead your clients through evaluating and adopting Databricks Lakehouse platform
- Support your customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications
- Successfully integrate Databricks with 3rd-party applications to support customer architectures
- Engage with the technical community (both internal and customer) by leading workshops, seminars and meet-ups
- Together with your Account Executive, you will form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory to deliver exceptional technical and business value
What we look for:
- An ability to share technical concepts, including presenting and white-boarding
- Pre- or post-sales experience working with external clients providing expertise
- Design and implement architectures within a public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- You have experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop or Cassandra
- Proficiency writing code in either Python, Scala or Java
- Understanding of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role with a core strength in either data engineering or data science advantageous
- Cloud platform and basic cloud security/networking knowledge advantageous
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information system, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent experience through work experience
