About the team:

Our talented in-house marketing team connects our award-winning app with the world! Our team produces creative marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels to expand our reach and drive downloads and revenue for the business. You’ll be joining a creative and fun team of marketers & designers who have a passion for sharing our love for Goodnotes!

About the role:

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Growth Manager to fast-track our growth in South Korea! Our ideal candidate for this role is an expert in ideating and launching localized marketing campaigns in South Korea to promote a B2C app.

You will design and implement data-driven growth initiatives by working with the global marketing team and cross-functionally (eg. product management, engineering, customer service teams) across timezones. You will monitor and manage all ongoing marketing campaigns in South Korea and develop insightful reports to ideate future initiatives and to share learnings with the wider team.

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

Increase our revenue in South Korea in 12 months by

  • Owning the entire go-to-market process, including maintaining the trends, impact, and use cases of our products and offerings
  • Building and implementing a full-funnel, multi-channel marketing strategy to reach and engage a Korean student audience both online and offline
  • Building compelling local marketing tactics to engage and delight Korea’s student community using local market knowledge
  • Localizing global campaigns to build and launch locally relevant marketing campaigns
  • Collaborating closely with external partners to represent and/or organize offline events and roadshows
  • Recruit and collaborate with Korean student ambassadors and empower them to run activation events at scale

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

  • 3+ years experience in a growth manager role in a B2C product company with a specific focus on the South Korean market
  • Experience planning and launching local multi-channel marketing campaigns including but not limited to Apple Search Ads, Offline Marketing, Social Media, Community Engagement, Partnerships, Brand Collaboration etc.
  • Ability to analyze data using tools such as Tableau and Excel (coding skills not needed).
  • Strong market research skills, with a deep understanding of local consumer behavior, local market, and competitor trends
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ideas & insights into successful marketing strategies through an iterative approach
  • Strong motivation to implement and drive positive impact through strategically planned projects
  • Experience collaborating effectively with global marketing team & cross-functionally with product, engineering, customer service teams for all growth activities planned in South Korea
  • Strong communication skills, with a fluency in English & Korean
