Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts with a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing campaigns for enterprise software or solutions.

As a Senior Marketing Manager at Opaque Systems, your mission is to develop and execute comprehensive marketing programs and demand generation strategies to drive awareness, expand our market presence, generate leads, accelerate adoption of Opaque’s Confidential AI Platform, and enable sales teams to grow revenue. You will spearhead various marketing activities, from email campaigns, go-to-market launches, advertising, SEO, events, social media engagements, leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaign performance. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams and agencies, you will craft compelling content, collateral, and ads that resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive online and offline marketing strategies, encompassing digital, traditional, event marketing, social media, email marketing, website optimization, and print collateral, to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Campaign Management: Design and execute all aspects of marketing campaigns tailored for B2B audiences, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, and webinars.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute GTM plans for new product launches and updates, ensuring a coordinated approach across all channels, cross-functional teams and agencies.
  • Lead Generation and Nurturing: Develop strategies for lead generation campaigns to generate qualified leads and nurturing programs that effectively move prospects through the sales funnel, leveraging various channels and partnerships to attract and engage customers.
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to develop tools and resources that empower them to effectively communicate product value propositions and overcome objections.
  • Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality, compelling marketing collateral and sales enablement material, including white papers, case studies, blog posts, and decks.
    Drive brand consistency across all company marketing initiatives and communications.
  • Email Marketing Automation: Set up and refine email automation workflows to nurture leads, create segmented lists, design email templates, and track performance (open conversion rates).
  • Social Media Engagement Plan: Craft and execute a strategy that increases engagement and brand awareness, including regular postings, and campaigns that encourage interactions.
  • Events: Organize and support events and targeted digital marketing initiatives to complement our conference strategy and enhance direct engagement with our target audience.
  • SEO and Organic Traffic Growth: Enhance the company’s visibility and organic search rankings by optimizing website content to be SEO-friendly to drive traffic and improve conversion.
  • Technology Proficiency: Leverage marketing tools and software, including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, 6sense), analytics tools, and content management systems, to optimize marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Performance Metrics and Analytics: Establish KPIs, track data and metrics to measure, analyze, and improve the effectiveness of all campaign performance, by optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights to maximize ROI and conversion rates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience in demand generation/ABM, with expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, lead nurturing, go-to-market, and event marketing within a B2B environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology companies, particularly in SaaS environments
  • Broad knowledge across all marketing areas, with a strong understanding of sales enablement strategies, B2B buying process, PLG motions, and ad campaigns driving customer acquisition.
  • Track record of developing and executing successful GTM strategies for new product launches.
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix, experience executing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns, and leveraging marketing analytics to measure performance.
  • Analytical mindset, using metrics to make data-driven decisions to improve marketing strategies.
  • Advanced, hands-on proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, MarTech & data analytics tools.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and executive presentation skills with an eye for visual presentation, and a track record of delivering world-class marketing and sales assets into the Enterprise space.
  • A self-starter, intellectually curious and able to work with data to support rationale for activities.
